The Ministry of Tourism along with the Ministry of Health and Wellness (@themohwgovjm) and the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (@jhta_jamaica) have partnered to provide additional rooms for COVID-19 patients.
Minister Tufton is supportive of this partnership and believes it will ease the burden on the already limited public health resources. Additionally, the JHTA President Omar Robinson, has asked his members to donate linens and other soft goods for use at hospitals, and isolation/quarantine rooms.
