The project will deliver 5,000 emergency care packages to affected tourism workers and families, conduct a Tourist Recovery Needs Assessment to accelerate visitor recovery, and train 1,000 workers across eight parishes with practical tools, one-page Business Continuity Plans, and a new offline Tourism Resilience App featuring interactive lessons and checklists. By coupling humanitarian relief with data-driven training and digital innovation, this national programme aims to reduce downtime, safeguard livelihoods, and build a culture of preparedness and rapid recovery across Jamaica’s tourism value chain.
